ITHEC 2026: Thank you, Bremen! 🙌

🎤 A big thank you to everyone who joined @Tilman Günther’s talk on “Scalable manufacturing of media-tight hybrid connections using the hyJOIN® process”. Probably the only talk of the conference featuring a human shear test at the pull-up bar. 😄

🤝 Together with @Dr.-Ing. Jan Krollmann, Tilman spent both days discussing applications, challenges and next steps with visitors. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, and to all who found the HYJOIN sweaters!

With so much focus on fibres and materials, it was great to add the joining perspective: how to bring hybrid connections into series production.

Two cities. One team. One connection.
Our team is spread across Munich and Dresden. For Oktoberfest, we got together — with first-time Tracht wearers, great conversations, and Saxon and Bavarian dialects getting along surprisingly well.
Bringing things together is also what we do every day: joining metal and plastic in seconds, without adhesives or screws — and separating them cleanly again for repair or recycling.
Some connections are made to last. Others are made to be separated. Luckily, Dresden and Munich aren't the latter. 😉
